So many golfers in the vicinity of Seven Oaks Golf Club visit the course for a variety of reason whether it be for its tremendous course conditions or its fantastic layout, but starting June 8th we hope that our guests begin to come to the course for another reason. For the remainder of the year on Mondays, Seven Oaks is asking golfers to donate towards our “Golfing For Good” campaign by bringing a non-perishable food donation for the Hamilton Food Cupboard or a new children’s book or school supply for the Hamilton Public Library.
As an advocate for the hungry in the Hamilton and Madison school districts, the Hamilton Food Cupboard feeds those in need who may be struggling to make ends meet and the Hamilton Public Library’s summer reading program allows an avenue for children to continue learning during their summer vacation. Both programs need the support of those in the area to be successful and any donation that can be made will go towards their efforts.
In return for every golfer’s generosity, Seven Oaks will be offering a special of $35 for 18 holes and cart for anyone who makes a donation. This is a tremendous way for those in the area to give back to the community and help support those in need. Again, there are countless reasons to visit Seven Oaks, but on Mondays this summer please come the course and Golf For Good.
